Maa Dadhimathi-A Brief Introduction

Maa Dadhimathi is the daughter of Mahrshi Atharva and sister of Maharshi Dadhichi and the kuldevi of Dadhich Vansh.The temple of Maa Dadhimathi is situated at Gothmanglod,Nagore.There is a famous pond known as a KAPAL KUND.It is said that Mata Sati's Kapal(Head) is falled here.Therefore the name Kapal Kund.there is a story behind the Dadhimathi temple which will be written in the subsecuent posts.
